Character Calendar
We believe that our three school values give children the opportunities and scaffold to develop into confident, independent, responsible global citizens of the future.
Enhancing these values, sits our Character Calendar - designed to create specific and focused opportunities to enable pupils to also explore;
Empathy, Curiosity, Responsibility and Creativity.
These four characteristics (of life, personality and learning) pair beautifully with our wider school values and tie into our vision statement, where we work as a school and community family to help all children.

The Characteristics are split across the school and are supported by visual images to help represent those characteristics being lived out by children and later adults. You may see these characters up in classrooms. Years 1, 3 and 5 cover the characteristics of Empathy and Curiosity, whilst years 2, 4 and 6 look at Responsibility and Curiosity. Year groups will each have two special Character Calendar days in a year.
